David Brent is a great comedian - I'm sure Americans are not stupid or insensitive to other cultures, and could appreciate his humour but why do TV exec's assume every successful international television show has to be translated/redone into American, not once have they gotten it right. The original version of The Office, was fantastic, the American translated version was weird and stupid, no wonder it flopped.
