I posted little this weekend due to an extraordinary role: Father of the Bride.
Although warned by others, I was not prepared for the emotional avalanche of memories.
Beautiful wedding. Beautiful couple. They're off on a new life together.

ReplyDeleteIt's great to hear from past and future Fathers of the Bride. I can assure all who have not had the experience that it is extraordinary. Also, having watched "Father of the Bride" and "The In-Laws," my daughter concluded that I am a combination of Steve Martin and Alan Arkin.
As for grandfatherhood, that is not yet on the calendar.
