I was in love with the Avanti as an almost teenager. For nearly the same reasons I was in love with the first editions of the Plymouth Barracuda. Both designs seemed completely separate and apart from the typical models coming out of Detroit.
And the fact that the Avanti had a fiberglass body only add to it's pure sexiness.
My only regret is that I never got a chance to drive either of them...
