Too Much Information

I'm learning far more than I ever wanted to know about the death of Robin Williams. 

It would be nice if the news media exercised more restraint in what so far appears to be a tragic and private matter. 

[And yes, I realize that "new media" and "restraint" may not work in the same sentence.]
