Good Samaritan
My wife is ill. Goes to the doctor on Monday. Sent me to the store this morning. I was unshaven and wearing an old sweatshirt and jeans. Hair askew. (I learned that later.) She's better now. but still needs to see the doc. Is remembering things she should have told me to pick up. I could mention that she overlooked those items when she was quasi-conscious but I'll let it slide. She's coughing in the other room now. I sent in the dog to visit her. Since I'm a germaphobe the dog is sort of a canary in the mine shaft. Dog is still moving. I think I'll go in and read some census reports to her. Cheer her up.
You are a saint.
ReplyDeleteKurt,
ReplyDeleteI told her that I expect a shrine constructed after her recovery.
Michael
. . .which of course adds further to her image of you.
ReplyDeleteKurt,
ReplyDeleteTrue. No need to bother her with it while she's still sick and she'll have something to look forward to.
