Quote of the Day
Wild animals run from the dangers they actually see, and once they have escaped them worry no more. We however are tormented alike by what is past and what is to come. - Seneca
Fortunately, it is not the only thing that separates us from the wild beasts.
I'll see what I can do about the capcha images. That is an item produced by Blogger, the host site, and I may not have many options. I've found that completely removing screening results in massive numbers of robot-produced spam comments. What is really weird is that when I respond to a comment, I also have to go through the process even though it's my blog!
Thanks, Michael. I don't mind proving my membership in the human race (if that's all there is to it), but the latest form seems determined to defeat the best my eyes can do. I understand the spam concern--I spent hours dealing with that, but hopefully there's a better way.
So the thing that separates us from the wild beasts is our ability to scare ourselves (and others) with a good (or bad) tale.
ReplyDeleteMakes sense to me.
(Michael, the captcha images are very, very difficult. Almost becoming too hard to be worth the effort to comment.)
Larry,
