But the ThinkPad is made in communist china!!! Oh wait, they are all made in china now. I really liked the HP consumer laptops but my job gave me an IBM ThinkPad. They seem like they are designed by committee, but they are very robust and I feel like I could throw it across the room and it will still work.

I've had three ThinkPads and have loved every one. Sturdy, well designed. I overlook the commie involvement.
