I have been using Windows 7 since the first pre release and it is rock solid, much faster and a real pleasure to use.
ReplyDeleteRegarding the clean install, I am a tech guy and I like to do clean installs every six months to keep things running clean. The mac is not immune from this as I support my wife's laptop and it gets bogged down over time too.
To the readers I say, suck it up and go windows 7! You will not regret it!!!

ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear that. I noticed that another reviewer in The Wall Street Journal also praised it and just noted that the installation was a pain for us non-techies. Even Chen, at the end of his piece, is more positive.
