Ineffective Phrases

Cultural Offering provides some personal research on phrases that are ineffective, especially in a house with children. Among them are:

"Knock it off."
"Who did it?"
"Brush your teeth."
"Clean your room."

I'd add:

"Slow down."
"I'm waiting."
"Cut it out."
"I'm on the phone."
