Trying to be like someone else is a suicidal act. In heaven, God will not ask "Why did not you be a great leader/manager/singer like XYZ?" God will ask "Why did not you be yourself?"
So yes, being yourself is a privilege of lifetime.

ReplyDeleteI agree, provided that being yourself is being a decent person. I've met some people who would be better off being someone else.
