The day is dreary, but the rain has stopped. It poured all day yesterday. I used to think rain this time of year was an insult. Every kid wished it would snow. I'm sitting here in the living room with the tree lit. In front of me is Henry VIII splendidly dressed in regal red. He came from England just for the festivities. Joining him is his wife Anne in a lovely blue gown. The tassels from Morocco are red and orange and hang off the ends of branches. They were the best I could do for ornaments.
