Hit the Beach
Cell phone off. Comfortable clothes. No e-mail. No deadlines. Nothing heavy to lift or read. At least one day a month to de-compress and have something called "fun." You remember that, don't you?
I did it this morning. Strapped the surfboards on the car and headed to the beach. Had the best surf session I've ever had. Could have stayed there all day, but my Wednesday - Sunday schedule brought me back to reality.
