Watched the other four seasons twice, and found it better the second time around, as you didn't have to concentrate on the story line as much and can watch all the detail and effort that was gone to to enhance the performances :)
Highly recommended. The stories intertwine, the attention to detail and period is exceptional the characters all have a story, and vast depth of character. It's not spoon fed television for the lowest common denominator of human intelligence. I'd be surprised if you didn't like it. But you have to watch it from the start and watching it requires your attention :)
Just have to wait for season 5....
