Your nominee (and perhaps not listed above)?
My vote would be 2001, A Space Odyssey. I also thought Blade Runner was well done, and I enjoyed Star Trek, The Wrath of Khan. A guilty pleasure for me is The Fifth Element (more an action film / comedy).
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is Forbidden Planet. Shakespearean drama set in outer space, with the cry "Monsters! Monsters from the ID!!"
ReplyDeleteJust love that movie.
Interstellar. Haunting.
ReplyDeleteI vote, as always, for Star Wars. Thank you for this wonderful list. There are a few I have not seen and this is a great reminder to get cracking.
ReplyDeleteMichelle,
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you like it.
It is amazing how many science fiction films are out there.
