Cruel and Unusual Punishment
You have been given a special assignment: to choose a film/show or a song that will be played on a running loop in the cell of a vile person who is in the lowest ring of Hell. The goal? To punish. Your choices?
Well, on another blog's recommendation, I once went to YouTube to find Justin Bieber's Christmas album. "How bad could it be?", I thought. I listened to a few seconds of his version of the Little Drummer Boy. It is a mistake that will not be repeated. I can think of no other use for this album other than the purpose you describe.
On the movie side, probably anything with "II" in the title: Ghostbusters II, The Exorcist II, Rocky II, Grease II, the Sting II, etc. The Godfather Part II is one of the rare exceptions.
The song "They're Coming To Take Me Away" by Napoleon XIV. If that doesn't get results, I don't know what will. S
ReplyDeleteSteve,
ReplyDeleteThat may exceed cruel and unusual.

Oliviero
Oliviero,
ReplyDeleteThat sounds sufficiently brutal.

ReplyDeleteWally,
ReplyDeleteManilow on a loop could be very rough.
Steve,
Thanks for the warning on Bieber. You are correct about the film sequels. Godfather II is a notable exception.

"I Want You to Want Me", by Cheap Trick. Enough said.
ReplyDeleteCrusty,
ReplyDeleteNo questions will be asked.
