The Dictator Benchmark
You can learn a lot about people by the extent to which they make excuses for the ruthless conduct of dictators. It's a pity that each photo in which they appear heroic or benevolent isn't immediately accompanied by a short film about their victims.
You're welcome. I believe that examples such as the Soviet Union show how wise the Founders of the United States were in creating a system that assumes that even good people with good intentions need to be restrained.
That was a powerful film. Thanks for sharing the link. Should be a reminder to us all about absolute power mixed with the halo effect. Especially now.
