My absolute most favorite musical. Great lyrics (Just You Wait Heny Higgins), great costumes (nothing beats Ascot), and great cast. I wish Audrey Hepburn and Jeremy Brett were allowed to do their own singing. You can't do better than "Sexy Sexy" and the charming Wilfrid Hyde-White. Only issue is I could have done without Stanley Holloway's numbers (I fast forward)), although I liked his scenes as Eliza's father.
Love the film and the live show. Just before quarantine a friend called and said he was coming over. I told him to come on over, but I was watching My Fair Lady. He laughed and said "Right". Was surprised when he arrived and I really was watching it. So well done.

Many of the more recent musicals have one big song but then everything else, for the most part, is forgettable. [Think "Cats" and "Evita."]
I put it at the top of musicals.
