I have to admit that when I first saw this story, I thought it was a joke.
New York Mayor Bloomberg fires a six-year employee because he saw a Solitaire game on the guy's computer monitor?
(The story has an even neater twist but I won't spoil it for you. Consider how Bloomberg got into the guy's office.)
If I lived in New York City, I'd be more concerned about the sort of cheap political grandstanding that costs a person a job rather than whether some worker, who may be highly productive, occasionally plays Solitaire.
