Daily Accomplishments List

Many of us use "To Do" lists.

We fill them out the night before and then try to meet their expectations the next day, often adding tasks that later come to mind.

Although these lists can be helpful reminders, they can also be very demoralizing. You get to the end of the day and feel as if you've been sweeping the ocean.

Here's an alternative: Make a Daily Accomplishments list. As you get things done, add those items to that list. Not only can it create an odd competitive desire to see how much is added, the Daily Accomplishments list is a morale booster.

You'll see what you've been achieving and although the list will have minor items, then will be some big ones there as well. Why? Because you will force yourself to get them on the board.

Try it. By shifting attention to what you are getting done rather than what you are not accomplishing, you can increase happiness and achievement.
