An Index for Your Notebook?
I really like Matthew Lang's blog and one reason is, in addition to a lot of neat bikes and programming stuff, you find pointers to gems like this. I've been using notebooks for years and have never thought to create an index. Embarrassing. But I will now.

A former co-worker got me started on indexing notes, and I agree it is a great idea. I use it most often at multi-day conferences or training seminars to keep track of where a set of notes begins for a particular session. I can easily fill an entire notebook if I attend 5-10 track sessions, plus keynotes. Indexing is a life saver.

CincyCat,
I'm glad to hear of your success with this. I'm going to follow your example.
