Several drafts coming together. Drafts cobbled from notes taken while sitting in a car or in a restaurant or in waiting rooms. Drafts typed and drafts scrawled.
No place is immune from the scribbler.
And I have stacks of those tablets.
Two books will eventually emerge.
Writers often say, "I don't write, I re-write."
But the point arrives when the re-writing ends.
I am getting there.
