Did Nabokov steal the idea for Lolita from another writer?

I'm not impressed with the "stealing ideas" allegation. Many stories resemble one another. Just to cite one example, the movie Home Alone resembles the O. Henry story The Ransom of Red Chief.
Big deal. It's not plagiarism.
