Going Full Ahab

At Ricochet, GuruforHire bakes bread. [Be sure to scroll down.]

I've never attempted to bake bread but this looks pretty tempting and anyone who uses "full Ahab" deserves some attention.

I started making bread in December and am using the Tassajara Bread Book. So far, I've made two batches and developed a sourdough starter. I am enjoying the process immensely. It forces me to slow down (you can't make good bread quickly).

Many of the best dishes out there cannot beat a great loaf of bread.
