Calm and Urgency

gray stone beside river

A balance is needed in much of leadership. Sometimes, a collegial approach is required and other times demand an autocrat.

[In-between is the systematic analysis and smooth progress of a well-designed formal system.]

The ability to shift from one style to another is key.

It is also the case when calmness and urgency are required. Note the terms. They require neither the lethargic nor the wild.

The calm leader keeps urgency from lapsing into panic.
