"We're glad you could visit us. We are interested in a test of some sort that will reveal whether applicants will be honest, motivated, insightful, tolerant, inclusive, productive, and creative team players. I suppose we might be able to determine that on our own with some pretty intensive interviewing, but we don't have time and even if we did that would involve making a decision and decisions are so subjective. We'd prefer a mechanism that will automatically make the decision for the organization as a whole. It doesn't have to be perfect."
"And which you can blame if all hell breaks loose?"
"Well, yeah."
