Thoughts for Easter

A reading of one of the most memorable parts of C.S. Lewis's book, "Mere Christianity."

Timely link, indeed. And a good snip of SC Lewis, too.
Thanks to You Tube we have one surviving audio of the man himself, the rest having been destroyed in the war. It's in two parts that take about fifteen minutes to hear. And the quality is good.

As I listened to his reflections on prayer and how hard it is for us to imagine how any "God" can possibly pay attention to countless prayers coming in simultaneously, I recalled an interesting statistic about You Tube itself we have no problem accepting. From the FAQ we find this:
48 hours of video are uploaded every minute, resulting in nearly 8 years of content uploaded every day.

We live in a time when statistics such as these are unremarkable to the point of prosaic. Yet our human imagination remains crippled when challenged to accept even the simplest notions of faith.
