As I listened to his reflections on prayer and how hard it is for us to imagine how any "God" can possibly pay attention to countless prayers coming in simultaneously, I recalled an interesting statistic about You Tube itself we have no problem accepting. From the FAQ we find this: 48 hours of video are uploaded every minute, resulting in nearly 8 years of content uploaded every day. http://www.youtube.com/t/faq
We live in a time when statistics such as these are unremarkable to the point of prosaic. Yet our human imagination remains crippled when challenged to accept even the simplest notions of faith.
