I'd Rather

  • Quietly prevent a problem instead of dramatically solving one.
  • Discover what, not who, is causing something to go wrong.
  • See what is rewarded than hear what is planned.
  • Spend two hours with first line supervisors than a day with the executive team.
  • Examine efforts instead of results.
  • Examine results instead of goals.
