I'm also hooked on Moleskine tablet [The flip-top reporter pocket notebook style] and the Lamy fountain pen. The Lamy is one of the most trouble-free fountain pens I've ever owned and the price is great.
Another recommendation: PaperMate Profile ballpoint pens. Buy them by the box.
