Some trains have "quiet cars" where conversations and smartphone usage are banned. Those old, stuffy, London clubs had quiet areas.
What if offices had a comfortably furnished quiet room where people could sit and work in absolute silence? No interruptions would be allowed unless the matter was a genuine emergency.
