Drying the Tears in Tucson

Arizona State University decisively beat the University of Arizona for the Territorial Cup. [Which is a diplomatic way of wording it.]

And later, in Tucson, a columnist for the Arizona Daily Star examines how the UA's football program can proceed.

What I liked, of course, was the human resources part of the story:

If the UA fires Kevin Sumlin any time before Jan. 15, it owes him a $7.5 million walk-off payday. If it waits until Jan. 16, 2021 the payoff is reduced to $5 million, payable over two years.
