As I experienced yesterday, when you take a family member to the Emergency Room nowadays, you drop the loved one off and then wait in the parking lot.
Given the pandemic, that is understandable.
And yet it is also very frustrating. You're out of the loop if texting is not possible.
I wonder if any hospitals or clinics provide periodic update text messages to relatives?

My wife is now out of the hospital and seeing specialists in order to identify the cause of the problem.
Frustrating but we're on the right track.
