I came to the conclusion a long time ago that I have almost no idea what the world is going to be like when my kids are adults, and so I didn't push anything on any of them. Some of them found passions in some sports, or in playing games, or reading, or whatever.
Sometimes I suspect that the hundreds of hours my son spent playing Minecraft might end up preparing him much more for whatever he does with his life then any school or extracurricular activity I could have enrolled in it.

Dan,
I think that predicting the future occupations of children is usually next to impossible.
The Minecraft point may be on target. You never know what might be helpful!
