Around four drops of rain hit my windshield at lunch today.
That doesn't count.
We've had no rain for around 140 days or so. The weather reports mention the possibility of thunderstorms this weekend but the lack of accuracy makes you wonder if they read entrails in the back room.
Phoenix can have impressive storms but they are seldom in the same league as the ones in Tucson, where the clouds roll up from Mexico and the lightning shows are spectacular.
We could use one of those suckers.
