Seeing this report of Communists carrying pictures of Stalin during a May Day demonstration in Russia is a reminder that, unlike Germany after the fall of the Nazi dictatorship, the Russians never saw the trial of their war criminals.
That's the kindest explanation I can give for people who are nostalgic for Joseph Stalin, known for such public works as this.
