Apocalypto

In keeping with our Christmas tradition of seeing gentle films about murderous ancient cultures, my wife and I went to see Apocalypto, Mel Gibson's movie about a society that brings new meaning to the term "warm-hearted."

Apparently, we weren't the only ones. It's doing very well at the box office.

By the way, the movie is extraordinary.
