In the Briefcase

Two books on leadership and a biography of Catherine The Great. Plenty of legal pads. An article on ethics to review before teaching a class on ethical decision making for a client in northern Arizona. I'll be listening to post-election analysis on the radio. That should be entertaining for all of 15 minutes.

Before the election, we had a Democratic President, a Republican House, and a Democratic Senate. After the election, we have the same. As Mario Cuomo once put it, politics is poetry and governance is prose.

We are heading for some very heavy prose, replete with subjects that are impossible to dodge. .

Things could get a little more festive now that the Senate no longer has a super majority...
