A Vision of the Job
How we picture responsibilities and tasks can greatly shape our actions. Is the process a road or a maze, a trail or a brier patch, a rocket launch or a sea journey? Does it require fast and bold action or deliberate, patient, and incremental progress? Does the vision fit our nature? Or will we only embrace it for a while before inherent tendencies lead us elsewhere? When we think of the job, what do we see?
