It was painful
The tacky bicycles. The boring climate change lecture. The wandering boy. The little kids carrying little plants. The now-universal affliction of rap and break dancing.
The opening ceremony in Rio looked like something thrown together by a bunch of eighth graders with a small budget, bad taste, limited imaginations, and a short deadline.
