Fashion 1965

Art Contrarian shows some photographs that he took on the streets of New York City in 1965.

Aside from the fact that there is little racial diversity (and New York was pretty diverse back then), I'm struck that most of the adults are dressed like adults. They don't have Charlie Brown shorts or look as if they escaped from a kindergarten.

The models with the masks, however, are a nice exception.
