I know I'll sound like a curmudgeon when I say I really like the original "Ghost in the Shell" anime - I watched the movies in their original English subtitled release - and my first reaction to the teaser trailer was: Oh, no, they've made it into "The Matrix." But this new trailer looks interesting. Probably my favorite Ghost in the Shell trailer is: https://youtu.be/tM-BO0ccO38 (but maybe becuase I also like Rodrigo's Concerto de Aranjuez). An interesting analysis of a scene in the original "Ghost in the Shell" is from the NerdWriter's channel, "Identity in Space": https://youtu.be/gXTnl1FVFBw . Nerwriter really nails why I like this series so much.
