The Pleasure of the First Draft

The first draft of my next book will be completed this weekend. 

I can assure you that the draft will be terrible. A great deal of additional work will be required. But the draft will be done.

There is even more good news.

The draft will be the launching platform for future drafts. Each one will be much better than its predecessor.
