Whenever I see articles on making a career change, such as this one or this one, I wonder if the advice is so blindingly obvious that the readers are insulted.
What is truly obvious is that people who are caught up in the desire to make a career shift may need a review of the basics. Many have been trapped because they failed to follow or could not ascertain the standard escape routes.
