Forceful Painter

Very nice.
I never heard of him, but the image immediately made me think of the Ashcan School of American artists.

In my younger days I was fortunate to have access to a small but high-quality art museum. The curators were top-notch professionals and the collection included a Robert Henri and a Pissaro among others. This picture evokes old memories. Only years later did I appreciate how lucky I had been as a teen.
