Random Thoughts


One of the most important management tools is the wastepaper basket. I suspect that only ten percent of the population enjoys looking in mirrors. You can never have too many bookshelves. Assumptions are meant to be reviewed. Censorship may have improved the quality of screenwriting. The Americans and the French are more similar than either would like to admit. "Cycle of violence" is a phrase that rewards the instigator. Beware of those who would draw the target after throwing the darts. Cheap can be fun but that doesn't make it good. Controlling our virtues can be as vital as controlling our vices. Graduation should be the beginning of a serious education. Company and solitude can be cherished gifts. Meaning well is miles beneath doing well. There are many who would love the equality of a prison if everyone was confined. A cup of coffee, a pen, and a legal pad can spark more creativity than ten meetings. The affection of a good dog is one of the true joys of life. We are wise to consider the unseen. The closer the goal, the wiser the caution. Engage, disengage, and watch the horizon.
