Next year will bring many stories related to the centennial of the First World War. The attention will be well-deserved since that war changed the world in a multitude of ways.
There will be, no doubt, many new and fine documentaries, but The First World War, based on the book by Professor Hew Strachan and narrated by Jonathan Lewis, is one of the best.
