Commentary by management consultant Michael Wade on Leadership, Ethics, Management, and Life
The Haunting. The 1963 version of Shirley Jackson's book. If they missed it, they don't know their movies. The Shining is essentially the same basic plot--crazy house, susceptible mental case, bad outcome.
Larry,Great choice. Classic film.Michael
Silence of the Lambs. A genuinely scary film.
Kurt,There are some scenes in that film that are unforgettable.Michael
For anyone who has ever been afraid of things that go "bump" in the night, I'd add "The Others," but only the first time you see it.I'd also add Mary Shelley's "Frankenstein."Ditto "Silence of the Lambs". That one will stick with you...
CincyCat,I'm not sure if I've seen "The Others."Will check it out. Thanks!Michael
