I am reviewing a draft and sipping coffee.
Both will be done very slowly. The document has been tinkered with and read so many times that the chances of missing something have increased and so slowly is best.
The latest version will be read aloud from a hard copy because computer monitors have a way of eluding the editor's eye. To sift out the problem areas and drive off boredom I may even use different accents while reading. It is good that no one is near or else the drama could end with the feel of a net being thrown over my head.
This practice follows the military maxim: Fast is slow. Slow is fast.
All will be ready for the client this morning.
