Our harshest words are the kindness never spoken, the praise that was not voiced. They are found in the times when we could have encouraged but remained silent or supported and stayed neutral. Many of us shudder at inconsiderate or cruel remarks we have made in our lives and yet I wonder if, at the end of our days, our greatest embarrassment will come from what we failed to say.
