Who Should Play Ignatius?

Althouse raises the problem of filming "A Confederacy of Dunces." 

If you were going to cast the film today, who would be your choice to play Ignatius J. Reilly?

Philip Seymour Hoffman would have been great. John Lithgow is too old. My choice would be this guy: Pruitt Taylor Vince.

You may recall that he played Rub in "Nobody's Fool."

Any other choice would an egregious display of bad taste.
