A Great Idea
It was a great idea but then it got too weird-complicated-you name it and the execution was flawed and those who'd loved the initial idea became demoralized and they couldn't understand why it didn't "catch on" but they missed the fact that the great idea had died within a couple of days. It had been replaced by something that was very different and nothing close to being great. Keeping the characteristics of a great idea requires very close attention.
